Bangalore Airport – We should be proud of it.

I am proud being a Bangalorean that Bangalore is having an Airport of some international standards !!!!

It is a bit far from city but the bus service is good in terms of comfort and frequency. Cabs are available in short notices. Toilets inside airport are clean, accessible and plenty which has been a perennial problem for women in particular. On the whole no complains.

A R Rahman has Disappointed me in “Jaane tu ya jane na”

First time I found AR music inspired by others music.

Kahin To Hogi Ho: Sung by Rashid Ali and Vasundra Das is sooooooooo MLTR it irritates.

Tu Bole Main Boloon: Even the title song by A R Rahman is something like Louis Armstrong music.

I am very disappointed.

Yes we honk….you know why???

Recently I saw a news program in which they were showing we Indian honk a lot while driving.

But I was disappointed that they didn’t research the “Why” part? I did and these are the findings: 

1. People walk on the road, as footpath is for sleeping.
2. Apart from people even cow, dog, sheep and pigs walk on the road.
3. There is no speed limit. You can drive at any speed from 0 to 150 kmph at your own risk.
4. No lane system. An auto wala while waiting at signal can suddenly change his mind to take a left turn even though he is on extreme right side of the road.
5. People can’t stand inside the bus stop which is always full with something (people to cow dung). They wait on road.
6. At a 5 ft long bus stop, with out shoulder, located just after signal, some 5 buses need to stop, over take each other etc etc. The driver can do anything he wants.
7. Private vans and buses can stop anywhere anytime to overload their vehicle.

I don’t want to complain more but all I want to say is there are reasons, why we honk.

Achievment

Every day after I park the car on the path way outside my office, i feel sense of achievment.

Thanks to Bangalore traffic and Bangalorean traffic sense.
